Our Story

My name is Tanner, and I am so glad you're here. I am a husband, boy dad, and lifelong Texan transplanted to Northwest Arkansas. For as long as I can remember, I have loved leather. I would buy a new wallet every chance I got just to soak in that classic leather smell we all know and love. Around 2023, I began following some leather crafters on YouTube, and after a year of watching every leather video I came across, I finally made the jump to start leather crafting myself. I started off simple, making keychains and desk trays for $5 here and $10 there. I still vividly remember the first time someone paid me more than $20 for an item I made. After several months of bootstrapping, I officially launched Ozark Leather Co. in the Spring of 2025. I never would have imagined that I would be selling goods all over the country. I am immeasurably grateful and blessed to be able to make items that people will carry with them for decades to come. Ozark Leather Co. will always be a brand that prides itself on honest craftsmanship, integrity, and gives God the glory in everything we make or do.
